Last Thursday IATNL Treasurer Arne Helgeland, Trail Director Kevin Noseworthy, College of the North Atlantic students Cheryl Tucker and Robyn Wells (both on a work term) and Paul Wylezol, Chaiperson IATNL, were at Crow Head on the northern tip of the Northern Peninsula to erect IAT Northern Terminus signs.  It's a beautiful spot with nice views, a nice trail and now nice signs!

Two thru hikers (one from Georgia and another from North Carolina) will be leaving this point later in June to become the first hikers to hike the current IAT route from north to south.

Attached are a pdf of today's story in the Northern Pen, as well as photos of the Crow Head area and new signs.  Anyone planning to be in the L'Anse aux Meadows area and who would like to take a nice hike out to the Head and signs, you can find the trailhead to Cape Raven Trail about 2kms before the turn-off to the UNESCO site.

 Happy ... and Well-Marked ...Trails!
