#1 International Appalachian Trail AGM in Cape Breton Nova Scotia Formally Added to World’s Longest
International Hiking Trail
Hike NS hosted the SIA-IAT (International Appalachian Trail) Annual International Meeting at the Highland Heights Inn, September 20 - 22, 2007.
This meeting celebrated the formal addition of Nova Scotia to this international hiking trail that includes Maine, New Brunswick, Quebec and Newfoundland
and is approximately 2400 km (1490 miles) in length. It was a huge success with visitors from the Maine, New Brunswick, Quebec and Newfoundland SIAIAT Chapters plus representation from Prince Edward Island.
